On Saturday, June 15, at Fukuoka Sun Palace, we held the 23-24 IBS Certificate Award Ceremony and the 24-25 OBS Send-Off Event.
The growth of our students is remarkable. Inbound students, who could barely speak Japanese a year ago, gave impressive reports in Japanese. Outbound students, who hesitated to speak in public, now speak confidently. They will depart for their assigned countries in one to two months.
We successfully conducted the ceremonies thanks to the participation of many stakeholders and the support of Rotarians. We also delivered funds raised for Ukraine
Read moreWe finally held the last orientation of the year. The 23-24 IBS participants are preparing for their final presentations before the certificate award ceremony. The 24-25 OBS participants are completing the final steps, such as obtaining visas and arranging flights. Starting next month, we will begin the rush of the current OBS participants returning home, the current IBS participants returning home, and the next year’s OBS participants departing and IBS participants arriving and departing.
Read moreFrom May 8th to 12th, we conducted our annual JAPAN Tour, visiting Himeji Castle, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya, DisneySea, Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls, and attended the RI Japan Youth Exchange Conference in Tendo City, where Serina from District 2700 won third place in the Japanese speech contest, followed by a shogi piece-making workshop before flying back to Fukuoka.

The collected donations were presented to the Taiwanese Consul General in Fukuoka, Mr. Chen Mingjun, on April 30 by four student representatives. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and hope for Taiwan’s swift recovery.

A booth was set up to introduce the International Youth Exchange program, showcasing panels with stories from past exchange students. At the entrance of the convention hall, a fundraising event was held, gathering funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief, and the recent earthquake off the east coast of Taiwan.
